New paintings as well as a selection of works from the Oasis series were presented during Ekaterina Aristova's personal exhibition on February 15 and 16, 2023 at the Galerie Au Médicis in Paris.

​

When the Oasis series is the escape into a daydream of a magical and peaceful yet seductive paradise full of temptations, then new works (such as Svistoplyaska (Dance of the Whistles), Weeping Angel, Mother, Worlds Apart and others) bring us back to real life, reflecting the anxiety and confusion through the author's deeply personal empathy with events unfolding in the world today.

In addition, a xylography (woodcut) created in accordance with the Unconscious Art approach developing by the artist is exhibited for the first time. All the work, from the first drawing made with closed eyes in charcoal on a wooden board and until the realization of the first print on cotton paper, handmade by the artist.
