Blue Moon

Stolen moments at the Mediterranean nightfall—where the azure blue sky slowly turns dark, crossed by a thin golden crescent moon.
Quick, inspired sketches to catch the fading light and capture a beautiful moment.

6 unique drawings, created with charcoal and acrylic this summer in Antibes.

"The Blue Moon series is deeply inspired by Antibes—a place dear to my heart and an important part of my artistic journey.
Nestled on the shores of the Mediterranean, Antibes offers a unique atmosphere that nourishes my creativity and inspiration.
My studio, overlooking the sea and the ramparts, next to Nicolas de Staël's studio and Château Grimaldi, which houses the Picasso Museum, with its echoes of a powerful artistic legacy, like the stern of a ship in Vauban's harbor, is open to the storm and the clear sky... and the sound of the sea, and the cry of a seagull taking flight.

Under the soft July light in Antibes, the lines drift like waves.

These drawings are fragments of peaceful days, of sun-warmed stones, and evenings of pale or deep, almost black blues, crossed by a golden crescent moon—a visual sketchbook of a summer stolen from time."
